FullSizeRenderOkay, lots to talk about today. First off, I haven’t posted in a few days and it’s been killing me! I bought a brand new theme but didn’t know how difficult it was to switch from WordPress.com to WordPress.org. A lot of work was put into switching (thankfully I found someone who did it for me and helped a lot). As you can see, I still have my old theme. The new theme will be up and running in about 48 hours.

I am leaving for New York on Christmas night and I am so excited! I won’t be posting for a few days but when I get back I will have lots of posts! I’m so excited to shop and take pictures in my favorite city in the world. I can’t believe Christmas is in two days…that seems so crazy! The weather is in the 50’s and as nice as that seems I just wish it would snow.

I love this outfit so much. I never can wear cropped sweaters but I had the idea to put my Free People ruffle tank underneath and it worked out well. I got my hair cut that day and was so happy with my new layers. However, a week later, my hair looks the same…wavy and messy. I wish I knew how to curl as well as my stylist did.

I hope you all have an amazing Christmas and Holdays! I hope Santa brings what you wanted and you enjoy the time with family and friends.  I can’t wait to read all of the Christmas posts and share my photos from my trip.
Merry Christmas!

Megan

Do I look smart in these glasses? Firmoo is a global optical online store. They make prescription glasses and non-prescription glasses (what I’m wearing). I highly recommend you check them out! BONUS: If you go HERE your first pair is free!

Now about my outfit…it’s a little grunge, casual, edgy, boho, whatever you wanna call it. I just threw pieces together and thought they looked pretty decent. These boots are so edgy from Target and I love them! They are the perfect little moto boot. I’m also loving this long cardigan. Super comfy and can be paired with so many things! I can’t wait to put it over a dress in the summer or some boyfriend jeans and wedges. I also had to add this colorful necklace I got from H&M for $5! It makes the outfit a tad less edgy.

Have a great weekend! Christmas is 6 days away!

I’ve had these pictures for a while, saving them for when I didn’t have any recent ones. It’s Finals Week, so I’ve been wearing leggings and sweaters…not too interesting.

Anyways, I love this black on black outfit. I recently bought these leather jogging pants and I think they are so cool! I haven’t actually worn them yet though…soon! This sweatshirt is only $15 at H&M and perfect! It goes with so many things and I adore the edgy scuba texture. The simple gold necklace and floral gold headband added some glam to this black outfit. Who doesn’t love glam?!

This is a great alternative to an LBD for a Christmas party!

P.S. Can you believe Christmas is 8 days away?! I’m not ready! I want to enjoy this season as long as possible!

I’m not going to lie…I got the idea for this sweater and top in a PB Teen catalog. I bought this sweater a couple months ago and then put it on and thought it was a tad boring. I didn’t know how to spice it up so it just sat in my closet. Sound familiar? When I was looking through the PB Teen catalog, I saw a girl with this exact sweatshirt. She had a chambray top underneath and I knew it would look good. I can’t believe I didn’t think of it myself! I think a plaid top would look just as nice underneath too.

I decided to add some leopard flats and an embellished headband along with a gold necklace for some fun. Accessories are key!

Last Sunday I went to a Kevin Hart show with my boyfriend and roommates. He is absolutely hilarious! My dad has met him before and I ended up getting to meet him before the show.

WHAT I WORE: This little dress I bought a year ago from Tobi. It’s simple, but the gold detail at the bottom glams it up a bit. I added this black leather vest and a simple gold necklace. I love all black for the Holidays, because it is simple, but can be accessorized so easily.

PS: In a couple days, my blog will have a makeover…I can’t wait!

FullSizeRenderBreakfast at Tiffany’s is a classic. I fell in love with the movie the first time I saw it, and I watch it all the time! Who else is a fan?!

I purchased this shirt around 3 years ago and have worn it a total of 3 times…bad I know. It usually sits in the back of my closet and I forget about it, but it really is a great shirt. You will definitely be seeing this styled differently in the future. I love the stripes in the shirt and of course the classic picture. This cozy long sweater was the perfect addition. Did I mention that these leggings are velour? Super comfy and cozy!

Speaking of Breakfast at Tiffany’s…I will be in New York City in a couple weeks and I plan on doing a little Breakfast at Tiffany’s photoshoot on my own! I can’t wait!

Also, good news! My blog will be getting a makeover within the next couple of weeks. I’m so excited!

My giveaway for the Old Factory Candle’s ends Wednesday at midnight so be sure to enter soon!

I think a photoshoot with candles was more fun than a photoshoot with me! These candles are really unique. They are from the Old Factory Candle Company and each one burns for 20 hours. They are hand poured in the USA with natural soy wax, self-trimming wicks and premium fragrance oils. The best part is they have 11 different sets to choose from!
The one I picked is called “Happy Holidays” and the scents are Candy Cane, Gingerbread and Christmas Tree. Yum!

Other sets include “Winter Wonderland,” “Romance,” “Fresh and Clean,” “Spa Day,” “Vacation,” “Coffee Shop,” “Man Cave,” “High as a Kite,” “New Born Baby,” and “Fifty Shades.” There are seriously candle scents for everyone!

The best part is that I’m doing a giveaway with a set of your choice! Enter below from now until Thursday! Just click on the link below and enter! It’s easy!

Putting this outfit together was not easy. I love this Free People shirt so much but the 3/4 length sleeves makes it difficult to wear in the winter. I saw this plaid shirt in my closet and had an idea to pair it underneath. The whole time I was thinking “How stupid, this will never work”, but I put it on and it looked pretty good! I usually add a necklace but I wanted the plaid to stand out on its own. Add some leggings and tall boots and you have an outfit!

I wore this on Thanksgiving so it was comfortable but still cute and a little dressy too!

I am loving this collared button down under a sweater trend. It’s so fun and preppy. My style changes constantly and I go from camo pants one day, spiked boots the next and a pretty necklace and riding boots after that. I love this pink button down with this sweater. The zipper on the sweater really shows off the shirt underneath. The tall brown boots add an equestrian vibe. It never hurts to look preppy every once in a while!

No, I’m not a supermodel…I wish! This outfit was literally thrown together. I just bought this sweatshirt and when I put it on I knew I definitely needed a shirt underneath. I threw on the army green button down over it for a more edgy vibe. The studs in the boots are really cool and different and I love the embellishments in my hat and necklace too! I added those two pieces to balance out the more casual, edgier ones.

You can never go wrong with leggings and a sweatshirt. Speaking of leggings…these I just bought at Victoria’s Secret. The lady that works there said that they are technically pajamas but of course I found a way to wear them outside the comforts of my home. Seriously, these are so comfortable and don’t look like pajamas at all! Check out the link below and get some for yourself! If a Victoria’s Secret model can make them look cute, so can you!
